One life a monster, and a stock of each
Every monster that gets through a lane now takes one life, the bosses too, and wins its sender one. You hold at most three times your starting lives. Each monster also has a stock, 30 at most: every send takes one, and two come back every second, so that one monster cannot be sent without end. The bots of every level play harder, and give you the first ten seconds to build.
Cog Siege has its look and its sound
Brass, iron, and steam: every tower, at every level, every monster, every shot, and the lane are drawn in the style of the logo. The game has its sounds, and its music, which you turn on in the menu or on the first screen.
Monsters go on
A monster that gets through a lane is no longer spent: it goes on to the next opponent, with the hit points it has left, until it has crossed every lane but yours. Each lane it gets through wins you the lives it takes. When a player is out, the monsters in their lane go on, and the ones they sent are gone.
The game has a name, a website, and four languages
The game is now called Cog Siege. It speaks English, French, German, and Italian: it chooses the language of your browser, and you can change it on the first screen or in the menu, even during a match. This website explains the game and opens a match against bots in one click.
Also new: a double tap on a tower selects every tower like it, to upgrade them together. A monster you sent that gets out of another lane gives you a life. And the bots no longer all build the same maze.
